Friends - Freedom Train, one of two singles released by this Melbourne based Australian outfit who were formed by vocalist Leo de Castro when he split up King Harvest in early 1972. They were initially known as Leo and Friends until May 1973 when guitarist Ray Burton, drummer Mark Kennedy and bassist Duncan McGuire left to form what would later evolve into Ayers Rock. Friends, like King Harvest, had tremendous potential, but split at the end of 1973, with de Castro reforming King Harvest.
